History
CCEE is the leading provider of California standards-based training and curriculum for K-12 teachers. There are many other providers of financial literacy materials, but no other organization provides standards-based materials that earn a 95% approval ratings from teachers who have used them.
CCEE was founded in 1963 as a part the California State University Foundation to provide training and standards-based curriculum in economics to California teachers. Its ultimate goal is to prepare California’s students to participate in the global economy as responsible workers, consumers, savers and citizens.

Served on the committee that helped set the Standards for History/Social Science credential programs throughout California. |

Helped write the California History/Social Science Standards for K-12, which incorporated an economics strand throughout the entire curriculum. |

Pioneered the Economics Mandate passed by the California Legislature (SB1213) requiring students to complete one semester of economics for high school graduation. |
