National Personal Finance Challenge

The National Personal Finance Challenge is a nationwide competition that offers high school students (Grades 9-12) the opportunity to build and demonstrate their knowledge in the concepts of earning income, spending, saving, investing, managing credit and managing risk.

In the first round of the NPFC, student teams compete in an online 30-question challenge. High scoring teams are invited to the state finals. State champions proceed to the national competition with an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and vie for the title of national champion. The top 16 teams in the National Finals will advance to compete for the national championship title first in a case-study competition and then finally in a Quiz Bowl.
